Introduction

Welcome to Bharat My Society, a web and app-based service provided by Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Ltd ("Bharat Bank," "We," "Us," or "Our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your access to and use of Bharat My Society ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Definitions

User: Any individual or entity accessing the Service.

Administrator: A designated representative managing a society’s account.

Service: The Bharat My Society platform, including its website and mobile applications.

Eligibility Users

Users must be at least 18 years old and authorized representatives of housing societies, facility management organizations, or individuals permitted by the respective society.

User Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and updated account information.

Keep login credentials secure and notify Bharat Bank of unauthorized access.

Use the Service solely for lawful purposes.

Payment and Subscription (if applicable)

Any paid features are subject to specific billing terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of access.

Refund policies, if applicable, will be mentioned separately.

Service Availability & Maintenance

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

Bharat Bank reserves the right to schedule maintenance, updates, or temporary downtimes with prior notice where feasible.

We are not liable for interruptions beyond our control (e.g., network failures).

Data Security & Privacy

User data is handled as per the Bharat My Society Privacy Policy.

Bharat Bank employs industry-standard security measures to protect user data but does not guarantee complete security.

Users must take reasonable measures to protect their information.

Termination & Suspension

Bharat Bank may suspend or terminate accounts for:

Violation of these Terms.

Non-payment of dues (if applicable).

Legal requirements or security concerns.

Users may terminate accounts by submitting a written request, with pending payments settled before closure.

Proprietary Rights & Restrictions

Bharat Bank owns all intellectual property rights related to the Service.

Users may not modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or exploit any part of the Service without permission.

Third-Party Links & Content

The Service may include third-party links. Bharat Bank is not responsible for external content or transactions made through such links.

Limitation of Liability

Bharat Bank is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.

The total liability of Bharat Bank shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the past 12 months.

Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold Bharat Bank harmless against any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from misuse of the Service or violation of this Agreement.

Force Majeure

Bharat Bank is not liable for failures due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, cyberattacks, or government regulations beyond our control.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India.

Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Mumbai, per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

Amendments & Updates

Bharat Bank may update these Terms periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of the Service implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
